I am a native Italian language teacher from Sicily with over 20 years’ experience.
I’m multilingual, speaking English, Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
I am an educator and natural communicator at heart, with a deep passion for languages. Having achieved fluency in multiple languages, I’m driven by a desire to share both my learning methods and the enthusiasm needed to truly love and live a language.
To really speak a language is more than just stringing together a series of phrases – to learn a language is to be immersed and to understand its culture and the mindset of its people. When passion meets expertise, a true grasp and understanding of a foreign language is achieved.
Over the years I have made an impact on many students, who have now become proficient in Italian and are immersed in the culture of the country I love!

Yes — most of my students start from zero. I also run small-group classes for beginners, and one-to-one lessons can start at any level.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. Most lessons are live online over Teams, for students anywhere in the UK. One-to-one lessons in person can sometimes be arranged locally to Dursley.
How much do Italian lessons cost?
One-to-one tuition is £30 per hour. The online group sessions are £150 for a 10 week course, which is £15 a session.
Can you help with IB, GCSE or A-level Italian?
Yes. I have taught Italian on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at an independent Bristol school, and offer exam preparation for IB, GCSE and A-level students.
I learned Italian years ago — can you help me pick it up again?
Assolutamente! Returners usually start with one-to-one lessons at their own level, or conversation practice to get speaking again.
